Prototype Information
 
'868' was one of a pair of 2' gauge Hudswell Clarke locomotives (Sister to '869'), built in 1909 in their Leeds factory and exported to India to operate on the Bengal Iron & Steel Company's own railway system. It's sadly believed that neither loco has survived into preservation.
 
The Model
 
The model is offered with a choice of five liveries and can be supplied in manual form or with a choice of radio control options.
Each locomotive will feature:-
Internal gas firing
Gauge adjustable between 32mm and 45mm gauge
Fully sprung chassis
Finely modelled Walschaerts valve gear
Water gauge with top-up system
Removable Cab Roof
Opening smokebox door
Fully painted/lined in both prototypical & fictional liveries
 
Please note - Photos show the first pilot model. There will be numerous engineering and cosmetic changes on the production models.
 
Every loco will come with a full 12 months manufacturer's warranty, with UK support and spares.
