mXion Drive-XL Locomotive Decoder

mXion Drive-XL Locomotive Decoder

£63.00Price

The mXion DRIVE-XL is a very powerful 8A (10A peak) locomotive decoder with sensitive control. The DRIVE-XL has 17 function outputs and 3 contact inputs. Of these, 2 contact inputs can be used for shuttle train operation (optionally also via time control). The 3rd contact input makes it possible to connect an infrared LED in order to receive commands from a transmitter on the track (PZB, infrared train control). The DRIVE-XL can carry out a wide range of special and imitation simulations on all function outputs (e.g. TV, delayed on or off, neon, gas lamps, fire, dimming, etc...). Servo functionality is also implemented. In addition, the DRIVE-XL, like the mXion FSD, can create light patterns and effects (traffic lights, fairground, running lights, etc...) which are freely configurable (SDF). A "Swiss mapping" is also available. In addition to the "Swiss mapping" and the American special functions, the DRIVE-XL has a total of over 19 special functions and special light functions. Digital and analog load control is also implemented. The wide mapping up to F28 enables many functions. The innovative random generator allows various simulations (e.g. boiler fire) to be triggered randomly. In addition, no additional boiler fire module is required. Of course, the DRIVE-XL has a SUSI interface and labeled terminals, so that simple installation and retrofitting of sound modules is no problem. A 5V generator for servos is also available. Servos can be plugged in directly. Switchable delay times, high beam function, Swiss mapping as well as a shunting gear and the "double-A shunting light" are included.

Thanks to its full support of SUSI modules (like our SX6), it is possible to turn the DRIVE-XL into a sound decoder in no time at all. The SX6 module can simply be powered via SUSI and the additional cable plugged into the decoder. It is also possible to plug speakers, potentiometers, gear clocks (or via simulation) and reed contacts directly into the decoder. As usual. Any function key can then be assigned to the reed contacts. Clock division and many other functions are available.
